Volunteers are the life blood of organisations like BPNW, and we have always recognised the invaluable work that they do in keeping the organisation vital, relevant, publicised, and through their collections we are fund various projects within the organisation.
Our training programme for the autumn is a basic course for ALL our volunteers – so if you’ve been volunteering for 20 minutes or 20 years you will be expected to enrol for one of the courses.
Initially the courses are a full two days, but we will, come the Spring, be organising evening courses to fit in with the busy schedules of our volunteers.
We’re already looking at ‘top up’ training for our newly trained volunteers.
