Support Groups

Baobab

A group organised and run by Africans for Africans and ethnic minority people.
Meets every Thursday from midday.

New Beeches

A meeting every Monday evening for people affected by blood-borne viruses. The group will offer a safe space for peer support and discussion as well as therapies such as full body acupuncture.  

Golden Girls

Our group for women affected by HIV meets every Friday.

Gay men

From November 2007 we will have a twice-monthly dedicated space for gay men affected by HIV.

Young People

Facilitated by the community workers.  On site and off site events are organized, particularly at holiday times.  Contact the centre for the changing program times.

Literacy and Numeracy drop in support group

Every Saturday between 12-2 a drop in facilitated by peers and a tutor operates.  All levels welcome.
