Inn on the Range
Overview
BPNW has a restaurant and exhibition space in its Whalley Range premises which can cater for 25 people per sitting. Situated on the ground floor with large windows overlooking a leafy and green garden and neighbourhood, it has comfortable chairs and stylish tables. The walls of the restaurant are used to display temporary exhibitions and there is also an electronic piano installed.
There is a rolling programme of exhibitions which hang for up to eight weeks – these have included photography, painting and ‘found objects’. Inn on the Range also hosted an important cache of work exploring those from the LGBT community who have served in the armed forces. Musical entertainment has included a swing/jazz band and an internationally renowned harpist. The Inn is looking to expand its programme of events over the coming year.
