Our Helpline

Perhaps you are worried you've been at risk of contracting HIV, or are thinking about taking an HIV test, or you've just been diagnosed and want to chat with someone about how you feel, our helpline is here to help you work through your concerns.  If you have any questions or fears about HIV, and don't know who to turn to, we can help.


PhoneOur helpline is the only one of its kind open 7 days a week from 10am - 10pm. Staffed by trained volunteers who will do their best to answer your HIV and sexual health questions. If we can't answer your questions immediately we can find out the answers and get straight back to you.Our helpline advisors have over 20 years' experience of taking calls from people who need HIV-related support and guidance.

If you don't know where to go for a discreet, same-day HIV test, our helpline advisors can help. They will explain the test procedure, when you will get your results and what the results actually mean. They will tell you where your nearest same-day HIV testing clinic is and if it's hard for you to find the time to make an appointment our advisors will do it for you on your behalf. All we need is a name and a telephone number to make the appointment - so that we can call you back to confirm the time and date.
