Instant HIV Testing
Since January 2008 BPNW has offered a nurse-led rapid HIV testing service. Results are available within 60 seconds. Referrals can be made to a number of local hospitals.
If you are concerned that you may have been exposed to HIV and would like to take a free, confidential HIV test, we are now able to offer this service from our centre in Whalley Range.
The nurse-led clinic offers access to the latest rapid HIV antibody test (results are available within one minute of the test being carried out).
The whole process including pre- and post- test counselling lasts about one hour. And we can fast track to one of the local hospitals for confirmatory testing should the result be positive.
