Advice & Support

Thankfully, for many people HIV has moved from being a life-threatening to a chronic medical condition. However, the impact HIV can have on your life may, at times, seem daunting.

We have a qualified and dedicated team of experts who to help guide you through any issues that you may have:

  • Housing advice

  • Financial advice

  • Disability guidance

  • Employment advice

  • Criminalisation advice

  • Numeracy/literacy support

  • Educational courses

  • Citizenship

We have experts available on-site, to talk you through starting HIV therapy. These advisors are also available on request to accompany you to appointments. Our advisors can work with you to offer the correct level of support that you need, whether you have been recently, or long-term diagnosed.

You may not need their help now but with HIV this department can often be a lifeline, if they can't help you they will certainly know someone who can. Please contact 0161-882-2200 to arrange an appointment or e-mail info@bpnw.org.uk
