Pastoral Services
Father Peter who works with the International Community Church of St John the Divine, a multi-faith church is available to offer pastoral counselling. Commonly he helps people deal with bereavement, guilt around sexuality and HIV status.
He is also available for pastoral home visits offering support and friendship. You can reach Father Peter 24 hours a day on 07772 644710 or through our switchboard.
The Very Reverend Father Canon Peter, from the non-denominational International Community of St John the Divine who heads up the pastoral care department at Body Positive North West is now offering a non-denominational service at our centre in Russell Road, Whalley Range.
On the second Sunday of the month the service will offer a time for meditation, prayer, reflection. On the fourth Sunday it will be a more traditional ‘church type’ service but representing the major festivals across a range of religions.
The next service will take place on Sunday 23rd March at 2pm. As it will be Easter day the service will be led by Bishop Barry will be conducting an Easter Mass for the living. The service will be followed by an Easter Egg hunt. Everyone is welcome.
