Training

For the last 21 years, we have worked closely with health and social care professionals. As a result we have an Information Training and Research Steering group quiding this, comprised of our staff and volunteers. Peer lead participation underpins this work - as it does with all aspects of BPNW.

As part of this, we offer education and training for professionals and workers.

Our experienced staff and volunteers provide tailored training around HIV in a variety of contexts. We have given presentations at National Union of Students conferences, National and International HIV conferences, provided workshops for schools and developed training programmes for housing associations and social services. We have also provided training for medical students at Manchester Medical School for many years.

We offer customised training and support, specified to meet your needs. We use interactive methods, drawing on our years of experience, to demonstrate how HIV awareness should be applied in everyday practice.
