The Knowledge, the Will and the Power (KWP):2nd Training Session

2nd Session of The Knowledge, the Will and the Power (KWP): a plan of action to meet the HIV prevention needs of Africans living in England.The framework is supported and recommended by the Department of Health for use in national, regional and local planning and implementation of HIV prevention initiatives.

Aim:

Greater understanding of the breadth of the Knowledge, the Will and the Power (KWP) strategic plan as a planning framework in addressing HIV prevention needs of African/BME people.

Objectives:

Present key elements of the Knowledge, the Will and the Power strategic plan.

Participants to acquire knowledge and skills on how to use the KWP and BASSline report in developing effective HIV prevention interventions targeting African/BME people.

Participants to plan and develop HIV prevention interventions targeting African/BME people using the KWP and BASSline African Sex Survey report.
